Job Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to implement back-end software solutions to serve both internal and external customers. - The position entails working on an agile development team within our Order Management (COM/SOM) team to develop Java based projects in a cloud-native environment. You will interface with other teams within the organization to develop complete systems to better our customers' experiences. -Key Responsibilities:Design, implement and test APIs, using Java with Spring Boot frameworkDrive complex technical projects from planning through executionWork closely with product owner to deliver business featuresInterface with other teams as needed to resolve dependenciesMicro service implementation to enable both intra and inter-domain application integrationAssist with troubleshooting and resolution of issues and handling release deploymentsParticipate in the design and architecture of software solutionsEvaluate and use the right AWS services to implement scalable and cost-effective solutionsCollaborate with internal team members to share responsibilities for the platformCoordinate delivery by working with globally distributed teams on a daily basis
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience; Master's Degree preferred4+ years of progressive experience developing Java-based applications and microservices -Skills and Qualifications:Experience in creating solutions using AWS Cloud Native tools like Lambda, Step Functions, etc.Experience building, documenting, and supporting robust RESTful APIsDeep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals; including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysisCloud-native CI/CD and Git knowledge (branches, submodules, rebasing)Experience using container management tools such as Kubernetes and DockerExperience with MongoDB and Kafka is preferredGreat communication skills - someone who passionate about sharing your vision and getting others excited -#LI-CH2
Salary Ranges

Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $158,125.00/Year
