Job Description:

A company is looking for a Medical Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide medical insight for Medicare and Medicaid claims review decisions
Interact with Medical Directors from other CMS contractors
Present medical education sessions and provide expert testimony as needed

Required Qualifications:

Board certified Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy with at least 3 years of certification
Active, valid, and unrestricted medical license
Minimum of 3 years practicing medicine in a relevant field
Prior experience in health insurance or claims processing organizations
No adverse actions pending against any State or Federal licensing board
