Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an Enterprise Data Information Management System (EDIMS) Administrators for an exciting opportunity to support the United States Space Force's (USSF) Satellite Control Network (SCN) as the Lead Sustainment Manager for the Data Transport Product Support Sustainment Logistics Maintenance (DSLM) contract located in Colorado Springs, CO. The objective of the DSLM contract is to sustain and modernize the Data Transmit (Tx) and Receive (Rx) Network (DTRN) as part of the Battle Management Command, Control and Communications (BMC3) organization within Space Systems Command (SSC). The DSLM effort provides sustaining, maintaining, and logistics support for the operational capability to transfer data for the purpose of providing highly reliable and secure telemetry, tracking, command, control, and communications (TT&C3) for more than 195 Department of Defense (DoD), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), civil, and allied satellites, as well as the future sustainment, maintenance, and logistics of other DTRN programs at the appropriate phase.DSLM primarily supports the SCN. The SCN is a global network of Radio Frequency (RF) antennas, complex signal processing and routing communications equipment and computer systems that support a growing inventory of increasingly complex space vehicles which support operational forces in peace and wartime. It is designed to have the flexibility to support a wide spectrum of orbiting satellites. Many satellites with various altitudes and orbit inclinations are supported on a 24-hours per day, 7-days a week schedule.The EDIMS Administrators shall support the EDIMS Engineer and operate and maintain a data management environment (Enterprise Data Information Management System (EDIMS)) that provides a single web-accessed interface for Government and authorized user access. The EDIMS Team will establish and execute data management processes and incorporate into the EDIMS design. The EDIMS needs to house all data generated, delivered, managed, or required for the DSLM contract. The EDIMS environment shall be IAW NIST SP 800-171r2, 800-171A and is searchable and allow for specific interfaces and accesses based on user permissions, to include workflow tools to assist in continuous improvement. In addition, as part of EDIMS, we are required to use, maintain and with Government approval or direction modify the following Government provided tools, applications and databases.The EDIMS Team will collaborate with the PM, CE, DSLM divisions and government customers/stakeholders. The EDIMS Team will collaborate and understand various projects/efforts, issues and regarding DSLM EDIMS reporting requirements. Strong organizational skills, DoD IT knowledge and collaboration is required. This position will be a Mid-Level level position responsible for all contractual aspects and reporting requirements. A person with 4 - 8 years of experience is needed to provide the EDIMS talent to execute the mission.The EDIMS Administrators will be responsible for EDIMS Activities (PWS 3.1.1.15):

      • Education and Experience Level: Minimum: HS 8+, AA 6+, BS 4+, MS 2+, PhD 0+ experience in IT and Cyber NIST SP 800-171; Cloud Computing; web-based interactive interfaces; and data and database management environments.
      • Knowledge - Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices and standards or wide application of technical principles. Full knowledge of industry practices.
      • Contacts - Contacts are frequent with individuals representing other departments, and/or representing outside organizations. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function of the department or which may be of sensitive nature.
      • Problem Solving - Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies.
      • Discretion and Latitude - Work is performed under general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Plans, schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
      • Impact - Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.
      • Liaison - Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
