Description
Summary of Position:Using discretion and independent judgement, the
Regional Clinical Director (RN) leads the region and locations
toward its corporate objective. This position requires knowledge of
Home Health practices, procedures, and standards in accordance with
state and federal regulations, and of personnel principles and
practices.I. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThese include the
following: (Other duties may be assigned) o Analyzes and organizes
home health operations for region of responsibility.o Participates
in the development of identifying future opportunities for home
care specialization.o Monitors reports, metrics and progress
towards goals established for the region and/ or individual
locations.o Serves as a resource to guide and direct the clinical
team.o Represents the organization as a liaison with physicians and
local community businesses.o Communicates as needed with the
Director of Nursing concerning new developments and/or problems.o
Responsible for review of branch performance to include:o Starts of
careo Timely re-certifications and authorizationso Adequate and
appropriate supervision of clientso Effective billing controlso
Care deliveryo Documentation requirementso Personnel
annual-performance review and competency completiono Assesses and
assures Quality improvement initiatives and any corrections and or
Performance Improvement cycles are followed through.o Participates
in the interviewing, hiring, and training of location leadership.o
Serves as an expert clinical resource to guide high quality
training and competency assessments of care delivery staff.o Stay
current on regulatory rules for services delivered to guide
compliant performance.o Communicates and holds accountable local
leadership for corporate projects or initiatives.Supervisory
Responsibilities:o Supervises all Clinical Care Managers in the
assigned region and is responsible for the overall direction,
coordination, and evaluation of the region.o Carries out
supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's
policies and procedures.o Responsible for appraisal of Clinical
Care Manager performance.o Serves as an escalation point to
addressing complaints and resolving problemso Demonstrates emphasis
on improving quality of staff, systems, and environment.o May
function in the role of the Clinical Care Manager on an interim
basis during coverage lapses.II. Performance

relationships.III. Abilities, Skills and Knowledge:o Understanding
of the Medicare and Medicaid regulatory guidelines and state
licensure.o Expertise in coordinating work activities of
multi-disciplinary team.o Excellent oral and written communication
skills with proven ability to communicate with technical and
nontechnical users.o Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common
scientific and technical journals, professional journals, and legal
documents.o Ability to effectively present information to clients,
employees and community members. o Ability to define problems,
collect date, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.o Ability
to send/receive emails and use the internet for research and
informational purpose. o Ability to use word processing software
for communication and documentation purposes.o Ability to use
independent judgement to manage and impart confidential
information.o Basis knowledge of Windows based operating system.
Electronic Health Records and ability to advance computer skills as

facility.Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000 Plus Sign-on Bonus
