Northrop Grumman Space Systems - Launch and Missile Defense Systems
has an exciting career opportunity for a Staff System Engineer -
Support Resource Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse
individuals. This position will be located out of Colorado Springs,
One of four key leadership roles within the Engineering Support
(ES) Agile Release Train (ART), which is one of six ARTs within the
Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C2BMC)
National Team program.
- As the ES ART Resource Manager (RM) responsibilities include
staffing, maintaining an accurate demand signal, filling
requisitions needed to perform the mission, and reviewing and
validating proposal responses.
- The ES RM will develop, facilitate, and implement training for
the ES ART staff, address attrition, and hire qualified candidates
for ES ART positions.
- The ES ART will attend and represent the ES ART at Resource
Control Board meetings, work with company leads from multiple
companies, and maintain and manage staff.
- The ES RM will develop and maintain metrics to manage staffing
needs and ensure ES ART mission needs are met.
- Some travel primarily between Huntsville and Colorado Springs
will be required. In addition, trips to Schriever AFB will be

- An active Secret clearance is required.
- 14 Years with Bachelor's degree in a related field; 12 years'
experience with a Master's degree.
- Strong System Engineering and Proven Leadership
- Experience performing system engineering for large complex
systems to include requirements analysis, root cause analysis,
application design, integration, and test.
- Experience staffing, working proposals, team building,
developing and maintain metrics, facilitating and providing
training, and shaping a culture.
- Experience managing System Engineers providing mentorship in
the discipline a must.
- Being capable of working on site and with teammates from
multiple companies and in geographically diverse locations.
- Familiarity with agile principles and the ability to work with
different teams within an organization.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing prototypes and performing
- Modeling and simulation experience.
- Experience within the Missile Defense Agency or with Command

Additional Northrop Grumman Information:
Salary Range: $141,800 USD - $212,800 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
