Come be a part of our mission!Northrop Grumman Payload and Ground Systems (PGS) has an opening for a Manager Software Engineering Manager 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position can be based in Colorado Springs, CO or Bellevue, NE.Responsibilities Include:

• Technical contributor as a Scrum Master for up to two Agile Scrum teams
• Coordination across other Agile teams, other program personnel, and government customers
• Functional oversight for a team of engineers of varied disciplines including goal setting, feedback and performance management
• Staffing and workload forecasting
• Employee inclusion and engagement
• Employee mentoring and career development; employee training and identification and training of skills required to execute on programs.
• Employee recruiting, sourcing, and onboardingBasic Qualifications:
  • Active Secret or interim Secret is required.
  • 7 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field; 5 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
  • 2+ years working in an Agile team
  • 1+ year performing Scrum Master duties within a SAFe construct
  • Demonstrate strong people, organizational, presentation and communication skills written and verbal
  • Thorough knowledge of agile principles, practices, and methodsPreferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with Atlassian tools JIRA, FeCru and Confluence
    • Agile certification (i.e., Scrum Inc, Scrum Alliance, SAFe, Scrum@Scale, etc.)
    • SAFe experience
    • Experience as a Scrum Master Salary Range: $103,300 USD - $163,100 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
