The Payload and Ground Systems organization within the Northrop Grumman Space Systems pushes the boundaries of innovation, redefines engineering capabilities, and drives advances in various sciences. Come be a part of our mission! Northrop Grumman is seeking a Hardware Engineering Manager to lead a diverse team of engineers and logistics analysts supporting the Storm-1 program. This team is responsible for the terminal deployment, material procurement and logistics management of program material. This position is a dual responsibility position and the selected candidate will have a technical contributor role on the Storm-1 Program in conjunction with functional management responsibilities. Functional management duties include performance management, meeting staffing requirements, employee development and championing engagement. As a technical contributor, the successful candidate may be responsible for remote terminal site activation or logistics material management effort. Travel may be required up to 50% for extended periods.#COspaceQualifications: Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree + 5 years experience or Masters degree + 3 years or a PhD and 0 years
• Experience with ground based terminal deployment.
• Ground based terminal operations and maintenance experience.
• Working and hands on experience with ground based terminal hardware equipment such as antenna systems, RF test equipment, data processing and network management components.
• Experienced with material procurement and material management systems.
• Ability to develop detailed documentation such as test reports or equipment specifications.
• Experience with cost and schedule management.Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current role on the Storm-1 program.
  • Bachelor of Science in a STEM field.
  • Experience applying agile principles.
  • Remote site operations and maintenance experience.
  • Major Subcontractor Management.
  • Leadership experience. Salary Range: $98,800 USD - $148,200 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
