Explore your future and launch your career today.Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Electronic Simulation Tools Engineering Manager 3 to lead a software development effort. This SW development team management position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO, and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.What you will get to do:Performs technical planning, SW architecture, SW development and product delivery, cost and risk, and product ownership of a SW simulation tool in support of Sentinel Command & Launch contract deliverables. Leads a team of systems engineers, SW developers and SW testers in delivering a critical simulation capability and contract deliverables. Relocation assistance may be available.Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field of study and 8 years of related experienceActive Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance and Special Program Access.2 years of experience with SW product development2 years of Cost/Schedule responsibility with CAM certification Minimum of 3 years of formal management experience to include performance reviews for direct reports.Preferred Qualifications:Very strong understanding of SW development process, to include Enterprise software development environments6 plus years of SW architecture/development experienceTop Secret clearanceStrong Strategic Systems Command and Control experienceOperates independently with little to no supervision, and the ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, peers, and customersStrong background in managing and developing engineering requirements4 plus years experience in modern SW languages, including C++, LINUX and Green HIlls operating systemsExpertise in agile processes and Atlasian toolsExperience in DOORS and CAMEOAble to assimilate information from multiple sources, create coherent plans and then execute those plansExperience leading technical teams of 20 people or more, Minimum of 2 years of formal management experience to include performance reviews for direct reports.Salary Range: $155,400 USD - $233,200 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
