Set up proactive monitoring and alerting to minimize downtime. Perform proactive performance and capacity planning. Implement industry standard best practices that promote reliability, iteration speed and lays the foundation for a proactive support model. Ensuring Disaster Recovery automation capabilities are identified and in place. Understand incident response procedures, and capacity planning. Analysis of business unit needs and ways in which applications can be configured/used to meet current and future needs for continuous service improvement. Develop understanding of systems and the way Ent staff use systems to serve members.Budget and Procurement of IT services, systems, and technology: Budget creation/accountability. Manage purchases of equipment, software licenses, and maintenance contracts. Periodic review/reduction of vendor expenses. Drive down operating costs.Staff Development: Skills augmentation as appropriate to support Ent initiatives. Mentoring/coaching. Development of leadership skills. Develop and drive Ent's IT Service Culture through communication and training. Ensuring/augmenting staff knowledge of credit union operations. Setting goals and objectives for staff.Ownership/Management of IT Operations, Security Operations, and Application Support teams: Meet established Service Level Agreements. Identifies, documents, and implements policies. Ensures development of procedures and standards in accordance with policies. Process Improvement. Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and standards. Provide support in expansion efforts to include communications and hardware. Budget creation/accountability Periodic review/reduction of vendor expenses Ensure technical architecture and process flows are fully documented. Manage on-call schedules and escalation process.Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.Minimum Formal Education Required for this Position:Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.Minimum Work Experience:6+ years' of related IT experience. required2+ years' supervisory or management experience. required2+ years of combined IT experience in application support, host operations, systems/network administration, desktop support, and/or Disaster Recovery. preferred2+ years' of financial institution experience. preferredEach year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. ENT has been expanding quickly across Colorado. They just opened a new HQ and data center. The Data Center is now capable of real time replication. ENT is looking to advance their IT department and move them into 2022 with the latest technology. They are looking to add thought leaders that are willing to dive in, look at different solutions, and implement the new solutions! This role is for a manager writing the book on automation and monitoring tools. This person will be implementing and overseeing site reliability and automation. ENT does not have much in place currently for automation tools and they are looking for this person to come in, conduct research, and implement automation tool. This department has been getting requests for RPA (robotic process automation). The current team is 2 people that will report to this manager. They will continue to add team members as needed throughout the year. The ideal candidate will have a broad experience implementing automation tools, managing a growing team, site reliability experience, and experience working in a financial company. Summary:- This person can be a first time manager: previously a lead or an SRE individual contributor- Future oriented with fluid responsibility. They will help develop/shape the vision and create tactical steps to implementing that vision.- Working on automation and monitoringo Automation: RPO (UIPath) for business processeso Monitoring: alerting, tools (solarwinds and newrelic and appinsites) are monitored so that they get proactive alerting to other IT partners in infrastructure, app dev- NO sponsorship, relo is a maybe for the right person- Hybrid: 3-2 onsite/remote- Salary: 103-130k but can flex upward Mindstream- Brand new role- Automation and monitoring technologies - Automation: UIPath (RPO) for business processes.o Looking with someone familiar with batch, yearend, quarter end processing- Not just understanding batch processing, needs to be able to drive a roadmap and create this automation - Environment is being built from the ground up, need to be able to interface with business partners, they will have to build the responsibilities and vision of what this role will encompass- Monitoring: alerting, tools (solarwinds and newrelic and appinsites) are monitored so that they get proactive alerting to other IT partners in infrastructure, app dev and o Needs to know what solarwinds is, needs to have synthetic monitoring (UX) which demonstrates bottlenecking in the environmento Appinsights- Helping develop what are the tactical steps to achieve a vision and help develop the future- Wants them to be hands on,- New manager, they don't need to have manager experience, a senior lead ready for the next step. Hands on approach is valued mor- Direct reports: 3 of them initially, potentially more soon down the road- Being able to create a project plan, and wants to be a peer manager- Need to be able to work 3-2, extremely flexible and how that schedule works- Salary: 103-130 (150 was the range)- NO sponsorship- RELO is a flex area (signing bonuses)
