Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Project Management - Engineering based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

What You'll get to Do:

  • The Project engineer will have the responsibility to assist the more senior Project Leads with the Task Order 02 (TO02) Leadership to manage, coordinate, and oversee the cross Agile Release Train and Cross Functional Product Team efforts associated with TO 02 PR Implementation and Deployment changes, TO02 contract proposals and Mods, and back up the TO02 Release Manager to task and lead the TO02 PR and ECP Implementation.
  • The Project Engineer will support the planning and execution of technical scope, schedule, and cost inputs for changes, ECPs and other customer engineering estimate requests.
  • This individual will support development of TO02 IMS objective evidence, the collection of IMS status accounting, and will support cross spiral de-confliction, cross Functional Area coordination, and schedule/resource issue resolution.Basic Qualifications:

    If applicable, please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume.
    • An active Secret clearance is required.
    • 5 Years with Bachelor's degree in a related field; 9 years' experience in lieu of a degree.
    • Knowledge of Planning, Scheduling, Project Management and EVMS.
    • Knowledge of Systems Engineering, Software Development, and Deployment.
    • Experienced in developing & managing project teams and schedules.
    • Experience in Development Lifecycle and knowledge of spiral development processes.
    • Proven leadership abilities to manage, coordinate, and oversee cross Functional Area efforts associated with both the Sustainment and Development lifecycle management with emphasis on Deployment activities.
    • Experience with project planning, cost, schedule & performance. Previous experience with development programs and deployment execution activities.Preferred Qualifications:
      • Knowledge in the Cybersecurity area is desired.What We Can Offer You:

          Additional Northrop Grumman Information:

          Salary Range: $76,200 USD - $114,400 USD

          Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
