Boeing Satellite Systems Mission Software Products team is seeking a highly motivated individual with experience leading development efforts to be the Space Superiority Software Engineering Manager in Colorado Springs, CO. The Manager will manage personnel supporting proprietary programs.

Position Responsibilities Include:
The Manager will manage staffing needs and grow the skills/capabilities of the organization.

The Manager will develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners. The Manager will develop and motivate employees.

The Manager must be adept in building working relationships with the engineering community.

The Manager forecasts, obtains and manages personnel to meet project and organizational requirements; acquires, deploys and schedules personnel to meet organizational objectives; determines critical skills within an organization or functional area; develops and implements staffing plans to ensure necessary skills are available within the company

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position ---

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher

5+ years of experience with the software development life cycle.

2+ years of experience with Agile software development.

3+ years of experience in a lead or management position of engineers.

3+ years of experience leading or managing projects.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Familiarity with satellite ground mission capabilities (command & control, orbital analysis, mission planning and/or mission management)

Experience at successfully managing and being part of a complex IPT to produce results within budget, on schedule, and to performance requirements.

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $141,06 - $172,407
