Job Title: BIM Manager Location: Denver, CO (In-Office Position)
Experience Level: Mid-level Position Summary: We are seeking a
skilled and innovative BIM Manager to lead Building Information
Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) efforts
across a diverse range of engineering, design, and
fabrication/construction projects. Specializing in the engineering,
design, procurement, and construction of process plants within the
oil & gas, chemical, utilities, and mineral processing/mining
industries, we are looking for a candidate who will drive BIM
strategy, foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, and ensure that
projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This
position offers the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking

team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: BIM Strategy and
Implementation: Develop, maintain, and enforce company BIM
standards, protocols, and workflows tailored to process plant
design. Lead the transition to a BIM-centric environment,
integrating tools such as Revit, Plant 3D, Advance Steel, Civil 3D,
and Navisworks. Evaluate and recommend software solutions to
enhance productivity, collaboration, and data exchange. Project
Support and Coordination: Act as the BIM administrator for multiple
projects. Serve as the primary point-of-contact for BIM-related
matters across various teams. Ensure accurate model coordination
between disciplines (e.g., piping, structural, civil, electrical,
and instrumentation). Oversee model quality control, clash
detection, and resolution processes. Leverage programming tools
(e.g., Python) to automate processes and improve efficiency.
Collaboration and Training: Provide training and mentorship to
design and engineering teams on BIM tools and best practices.
Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and clients to
ensure seamless data exchange and model interoperability. Data
Management and Delivery: Manage the setup, configuration, and
maintenance of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or other
collaborative platforms. Ensure deliverables, including 3D models,
drawings, and data exports, meet project requirements and client
expectations. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Challenge the
status quo and bring forward new ideas to improve BIM/VDC systems
and processes. Stay updated on emerging BIM trends and technologies
relevant to process plant design. Identify opportunities for
automation, enhanced visualization (e.g., VDC, VR/AR), and
data-driven decision-making. Evaluate areas for improvement and
recommend innovative solutions to enhance project workflow.
Essential Job Functions: Experience with Collaborative Platforms
and Common Data Environments: Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360,
Autodesk Docs. Microsoft Server SQL. BIM Implementation and
Management: Development of BIM Execution Plans. Familiarity with
VDC Methodologies and ISO 19650. Understanding of BIM Maturity
Levels and Level Of Development (LOD). Document control,
versioning, permissions control, approval workflows, markups,
issues management, reporting, and analytics. Knowledge of
parametric modeling, Dynamo scripting, or other scripting and
automation tools. Experience with cloud-based collaboration for
large-scale industrial projects. Product Certifications and
Experience: Autodesk products including Revit, Plant 3D, Advance
Steel, Civil 3D, and Navisworks. Soft Skills: Exceptional
Networking Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong
relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors.

Supervision, administration, and assignments will be provided by
the Principal Engineer – Technical Solutions. Direction of Others:
While not directly supervising others, this position regularly
provides guidance and mentorship to internal team members.
