Job Description:

As an Electronics Technician I at Cargill, you become a vital part of our mission to nourish and sustain the global community. In this role, you will work within our advanced food and beverage processing environment, applying your technical expertise to maintain and enhance our electronic and automated systems. Your contributions will directly impact our efficiency and ability to deliver high-quality products, affirming our commitment to excellence and innovation in the food and agriculture sector. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems, including PLCs and HMI. Monitor performance and quality of electronic equipment to ensure uninterrupted production operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system improvements and new technology installations. Document all maintenance activities, maintaining clear and comprehensive records of system status and work performed. Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in all technical activities. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electronic systems and controls. Understanding of PLC programming and automation technology. Ability to read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams and technical documentation. Familiarity with food processing equipment and operational standards. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Electronics Technician (CET) Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) certification desirable.
