Job Description Job Description Direct Hire $20–$25/hour, based
on experience ?? Travel required (military base projects) We are
hiring Installation & Repair Technicians to support fiber
installation projects on military bases, running fiber to
residential military housing. Technicians must be based near
Louisville, KY to support both travel projects and local OSP work
when not traveling. What You’ll Be Doing Install, repair, and
maintain fiber, copper, coax, internet, voice, and video services
Run and terminate fiber to residential locations Troubleshoot
service issues including cabling, NIDs, CPE, and signal levels
Perform testing to isolate faults (signal loss, noise, shorts,
grounds, cross connections) Install and replace inside wiring,
jacks, modems, gateways, ONTs, and routers Work on aerial,
underground, and buried facilities (drops, terminals, pedestals,
enclosures) Read and follow work orders, service tickets, prints,
and network documentation Educate customers on installed services
and basic troubleshooting Accurately document completed work and
materials used Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean,
professional work environment What We’re Looking For Hands-on
telecom or fiber installation experience Comfortable working both
locally and traveling to project sites Strong troubleshooting and
documentation skills Customer-facing experience Valid driver’s
license and ability to pass background requirements
