seeking a highly skilled Space Control Research and Architecture
Development Analyst to support the Space Security and Defense
Program (SSDP) and Space Warfare Analysis Center (SWAC)
Architecture and Force Design efforts, delivering current and
future integrated space architectures for the United States Space
Force Combat Forces Command (USSF/CFC) and the National
Reconnaissance Office (NRO). This position focuses on strategic
research of current and future adversary space capabilities,
engineering assessments, and the development of integrated
adversary systems architecture products. Ultimately, this
information contributes to the development and enhancement of space
control architectures, evaluating emerging technologies in the
space domain, and assessing strategic threats to ensure U.S. and
allied space superiority. You will provide in-depth research,
analysis, and recommendations on adversary space control
strategies, systems, and architecture. You will engage with
cross-disciplinary teams, interfacing with stakeholders across the
Intelligence Community, Research and Development Community
(Government Labs), COCOMs, USSF, NRO, SWAC, and program divisions
in the SSDP in the development and assessment of integrated
architectures. Expertise in space systems, threat analysis, and
emerging technologies in space control systems and operations is
essential. Key Responsibilities: Conduct technical analysis,
characterization, and evaluation of adversary threats to U.S.
operations in and from the space domain. Efforts involve
researching and integrating information from intelligence and other
sources to understand threat architectures, component system
functions, operations, operational environments, and dependencies
to identify limitations, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for
mitigation. • Develop, coordinate, execute, and refine analysis
processes to assess adversary capabilities and their impact on
current and future operational programs. • Conduct analysis and
produce reports related to adversary space and counterspace
systems, capabilities, forces, and operations. • Coordinate and
participate in Threat Situational Analysis Working Groups,
providing subject matter expertise on analytic processes and
methodologies. • Collaborate with internal and external
organizations such as the Space Warfighting Analysis Center, USSF
Operational Units, Combatant Commands, the Intelligence Community,
and various research and development organizations. • Analyze
policy, strategies, doctrine, law, and regulations to support
mission operations. • Provide strategic planning and operational
support for SWAC Force Design efforts, including offering and
analyzing new metrics related to performance and resiliency.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and 9 years of related
experience. Strong written and oral communication skills. Must have
demonstrated presentation skills and experience interfacing with
the government customers to include collaboration with the
Intelligence Community Proficiency with computer applications (MS
Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and Government
information systems (NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, etc.). Must have an
in-scope security background investigation (T5), adjudicated for
SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program
(if applicable). Must be willing to be nominated for access to
Sensitive Compartmented Information and other government security
access compartments; and willing to consent to a Polygraph
examination. 5 years of experience in at least two of the following
areas: Organizations : Intelligence Community experience,
preferably assignments with DIA, NASIC/NSIC, NGIC, MISC, NSDC HQ
USSF/CFC COCOM experience with operational planning Capabilities :
USSF and NRO Space Capabilities Space Control mission area Wargame,
Modeling and Simulation SSI has a target salary range: $130,000 -
$160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary
range for this position based on experience and other factors. ssi
