of Voyager Technologies, is seeking an accomplished Director of
Engineering to play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the future

Essential Functions Leadership and Team Management: Build, lead,
mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineering
professionals. Foster a collaborative culture that promotes
innovation, quality, and continuous improvement. Provide strategic
direction and support to team members, encouraging professional
growth and development. Project Management and Execution: Oversee
the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects,
ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines. Allocate
resources efficiently and manage project priorities to align with
company goals. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to
senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and
effective decision-making. Technical Guidance: Provide expert
technical guidance and support to the engineering teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product
management and marketing, to define technical requirements and
develop innovative solutions. Stay up to date with industry trends
and best practices, driving continuous improvement in engineering
and operational processes. Strategic Planning and Development:
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the company's
engineering and operations capabilities. Identify and evaluate new
opportunities for innovation and growth in line with the company's
mission and objectives. Manage the budget and resources for the
engineering and operations departments, ensuring cost effectiveness
and efficiency. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all engineering and
operational projects meet rigorous quality standards and compliance
requirements. Implement and maintain best practices for quality
assurance, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Champion a culture of quality and operational excellence across the
organization. Competencies, Experience, and Education Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field. Minimum 10
years' experience in a technical leadership role, managing
engineering teams and projects. Strong technical background
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire
and motivate team members. Prior experience in manufacturing,
aerospace, defense, and or chemical industries Work Environment The
work will be primarily in office and manufacturing environments.
Some time may be spent working with energetic chemicals and
explosives. Physical Demands Ability to lift 50 pounds. Comfortable
sitting, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling,
crouching, and crawling. Exposure to industrial machines, heat,
cold, and explosives. Frequent movement through a manufacturing
environment. Use of personal protective equipment appropriate to
the work location. Travel 5-10% Position Type and Expected Hours of
Work This is a full-time position working a 9/80 schedule.
Occasional overtime may be required during busy periods. Salary
155,000-225,000 plus bonus plan Benefits Estes Energetics maintains
a Comprehensive benefits package including unlimited Flex Time Off.
Work Authorization Must be a US citizen or national, a lawful
permanent resident, or a protected individual as defined in 8 USC
1324b. Must be able to hold a Department of War security clearance
