always aligned with our clients’ goals. Safety Director The Safety
Director leads safety efforts across all regions and works closely
with Plant Managers, Trade Managers, Manufacturing Engineers,
Project Management and other partners to develop and execute
strategic initiatives. This role motivates teams to deliver high
quality products safely and on schedule. This position shapes the
company’s safety strategies and strengthens a culture where safety
is a shared responsibility. It plans, develops, implements, and
oversees corporate and regional safety, health, and environmental
programs in support of our core value of providing a safe working
environment. Responsibilities include creating safety standards and
training, monitoring compliance, and managing recognition programs.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities: Leadership Engages teams
through clear, informed communication and removes obstacles that
impact safety performance. Collaborates with leaders across the
U.S. Engineering family of Companies to align safety expectations
and ensure products, processes, and systems meet regulatory
requirements, customer expectations, and internal standards.
Promotes continuous improvement across all safety practices. Safety
and Culture Promotes a commitment to safety and partners with teams
to reach a goal of zero unsafe behaviors. Encourages a culture
rooted in accountability and shared responsibility, reinforcing our
organizational wide cultural norms. Mentors and trains teams and
builds cross-functional involvement in safety initiatives.
Performance (Technical Responsibilities): Leads and directs
regional Safety Teams to ensure alignment across all sites.
Conducts strategic assessments Performs Strategic review and
planning of Safety Systems and Processes. Reviews project specific
safety requirements and ensures compliance with regulatory
standards through effective documentation and controls. Monitors
manufacturing activities to verify safety adherence across
operations. Works directly with customers to resolve safety
concerns and ensure satisfaction. Uses data and analytics to
uncover trends and guide decision making. Stays current on industry
safety standards and updates the corporate safety program to
reflect best practices. Represents the company in safety related
hearings and regulatory matters (OSHA, etc.). Participates in
internal cross company initiatives and supports relevant community,
philanthropic and industry activities. Education: Bachelor’s degree
in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field required
Experience: 10 years of safety management experience required
Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Proactive leadership, clear
communication, and sound judgment when addressing risk, managing
incidents, and anticipating future safety needs. Deep understanding
of safety regulations and compliance requirements Strong ability to
identify and resolve safety issues and prevent recurrence
Experience developing and implementing safety standards and
training Ability to analyze data to identify trends and support
decision-making Strong written and verbal communication skills
across diverse audiences including leadership, suppliers, and
customers Ability to work effectively with engineering, production,
and project management teams to integrate safety into all
operations Proven ability to assess safety challenges quickly and
accurately High attention to detail in reviews, documentation, and
reporting Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting
deadlines and safety expectations Adaptability to evolving industry
trends, technologies, and regulations Ability to build and sustain
customer partnerships while addressing safety concerns Strong
risk-identification and mitigation skills. Physical and/or travel
demands: Responsibilities involve work across manufacturing floors,
office environments, and job sites Frequent standing, walking,
sitting, typing, and use of monitor and phone; occasional climbing,
reaching, stooping, and lifting Travel required as necessary,
including road travel and occasional flights with overnight stays
Benefits and Compensation: The range for this position has been
established at $121K to $170K per year and is U.S. Engineering’s
good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting. The
compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be
based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to
internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
Your total compensation will go beyond the number on your paycheck.
Team members are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company
and/or individual performance as well as paid time off. An
