Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Sr. Principal
Engineer DevOps to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
This position will be located out of Colorado Springs, CO.Position
Overview:The selected candidate will support the C2BMC DevSecOps
team to develop and deploy Infrastructure as a Service and Platform
as a Service capability. The candidate will assist in the system
administration of multiple environments, software deployment,
troubleshooting, and automation in a DevSecOps environment for a
critical customer program. We are working with the leading DevOps
practices and tooling (Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible Tower
and Nexus Pro).Essential Functions:Work on systems administration
related issues with hardware and software for different network
environments.Support deployment of custom software solutions
integrating COTS, GOTS, and developed software.Propose system
administration process improvement to reduce overall maintenance
requirements by working with the design team and
manufacturers.Determines systems requirements, input/output
processes, and working parameters for hardware/software
compatibility and maintenance of system configuration.Identifies,
analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies.Develops and
recommends corrective actions.May provide technical guidance for
database administrators and software developers.Basic
Qualifications:If applicable, please note your updated security
clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume.An active
Secret clearance is required.9 Years with Bachelor's degree in a
related field; 13 years' experience in lieu of a degree.Must
possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher
(Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)Knowledge of
virtualization technologies, especially VMWare, to include
infrastructure and automation of those environments.Skills in
logical/physical architecture modeling, and knowledge of CI/CD
pipeline architecture, RAM, Mission Assurance, Safety, and cyber
security concepts.Experience in Cloud technology and
concepts.Experience with continuous integration environments in
Network, Software, or platform infrastructure capability
automation, development, and deployment.Experience with Linux/UNIX
or Windows system administration.Experience with a shell scripting
language (e.g., Python, Powershell, etc.).Preferred
Qualifications:Skills in logical/physical architecture modeling,
and knowledge of CI/CD pipeline architecture, RAM, Mission
Assurance, Safety, and cyber security concepts are highly
desirable.Experience with automation/configuration management using
Ansible, GitLab, Nexus or other equivalent technologyExperience
