One Tech Engineering is searching for a Engineer for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The Engineer will scope projects based on risk calculations, completing an AutoCAD 2D design overview, tie in details, and supporting documentation for projects all over the company's natural gas territories in Colorado.

The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should a bachelor's degree and prior industry experience preferred.

Engineer Responsibilities:

• Support the project throughout its lifecycle including construction engineering questions and closeout.
• Responsible for the design, modeling, development and testing of a machine, structure or system
• Develops functional requirements
• Understands and applies standard engineering principles
• Creates simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and test how a machine, structure or system operates
• Designs and tests components, and integrates components to produce final product
• Monitors quality of products and controls the efficiency of processes
• Evaluates a design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety
• Investigates root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommend improvements Requirements of the Engineer:
  
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree from accredited school
  • Experience with CAD, Technician Writing, and Engineering knowledge of fluid systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work several projects at the same time and work with different teams and crews
  • Team player to work with different plant crews and personnel to resolve plant requirements
  • Good communications skills both in person and through email
  • Building rapport and following up on commitments
  • Good time management and setting priorities on tasks
  • Hybrid. Position is remote up to 4 days a week with 1 day in office.
  • No travel required.
  • Local project site visits encouraged.
