In this role, you will:

• 
  
• Analyze system mechanical requirements for HVAC, fluids piping, and mechanical/structural integrity.
  
• Assess degree of H.E.M.P. hardened structures to support system operational requirements, and recommend alternative approaches to satisfying H.E.M.P. hardness requirements.
  
• Develop, analyze, and/or revision of test methods, practices, and procedures, including test points, test features, and required test equipment.
  
• This position provides subject matter expertise to a Government client. -Successful applicant normally be located at the Government site.
  
  Qualifications
  To be successful in this role, you will have:
  
  • 
    
  • Ability to obtain/maintain/transfer a DoD Secret clearance.
    
  • A Bachelors degree.
    
  • 3 to 5 years of experience.
    
  • The expert knowledge in MIL-STD-100G Department of Defense Standard Practice for Engineering Drawings, MIL- STD-3100B Department of Defense Standard Practice Technical Data Package.
    
  • The ability to travel up to 25%.
    
    Additional desired experience and skills:
    
    • 
      
    • A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) preferred.
      
    • 3 or more years of documented recent experience in mechanical/structural design and construction of H.E.M.P. shielded enclosures in accordance with MIL-STD-188-125 Series and MIL-HNBK-423, 3 or more years of recent experience in the mechanical/structural design of EMI/EMC facilities, or 3 or - more years of recent experience in the mechanical/structural design of TEMPEST facilities.
      
    • Working knowledge of structural welding and welding processes.
      
    • Working knowledge of MIL-STD-3007F Department of Defense Standard Practice for Unified Facilities Criteria and Unified Facilities Guide Specifications, OPNAVINST 11010.20H, Naval Facilities Projects, ASME Y14.100 Engineering Drawing practices, SSCPACINST 420 Engineering Drawing Preparation procedures, SSCPACINST 3910 Engineering Drawing Number Assignment, Usage Reporting, and Drawing Master Control.
