Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking motivated, talented, and Senior Operations & Training Customer Engineer to join the MWS Systems Engineering Team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. You will be expected to guide the successful completion of aspects of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.The Missiles and Weapons Systems (MWS) organization is dynamic and growing with a leadership team focused on attracting and developing top talent in support of critical missions for National Defense and Strategic Deterrence. Connected to our customers' missions, we deliver unique capability through our exceptional talent.Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate appropriate Warfighter/EU interface to planning meetings, e.g. new capability deployment plan, maintenance plans, transition plans.
  • Coordinate meetings with WF & EU to ensure ops teams understand upcoming POIs, events, execution changes and support ops teams in providing plan to support such changes/events
  • Support REDCON definition and O&S team support to NORTHCOM
  • MDIOC fielding ensure all fielding activities have gone through appropriate Project Readiness Reviews and fielding milestones
  • Assist ops teams with Warfighter concerns during daily operations
  • Account management issues (operations and test)
  • Review/participate in daily status updates; help ops teams identify areas of concern, identify items that may require Warfighter/EU interface
  • Coordinate Warfighter and End User RFI responses, screen captures, TIMs
  • Provide feedback to engineering and development teams
  • Coordinate site logistics and access (office assignments, VARs, badging, etc.)
  • Provide in person support to MDA and Warfighter for FOGO and VIP Demonstrations
  • Monitor training team VIP demo reportsThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree? (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study).
    • Highly effective communication skills with senior leadership
    • Strong communication skills and customer focus
    • 3+ of engineering experience
    • Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
      • Active secret security clearanceTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
