What does a great Security Engineer do at Clover?You will assess infrastructure, web and application environments to help identify, and prioritize risks and vulnerabilities, perform red team exercises, conducting internal pen-tests on web applications and infrastructure, and internal social engineering exercises. You'll participate in our bug bounty program by triaging infrastructure-related reports and handle infrastructure security incidents and perform investigations.In this role, you can expect to:Harden network infrastructure including Cloud, network, wireless, and endpoint securityEvaluate and recommend infrastructure security tools; evaluate and deploy critical patches needed for production systemsDesign, configure and maintain production IDS and NIDS systemsHelp with periodic risk management reviews in concert with Clover Engineering, Technical Operations and upper managementParticipate in IT and security auditsJoin the Fintech and SaaS revolution that is helping small businesses grow faster and get the technology and insights previously available only to the "big guys." We are looking for self starters with a passion for technology who want to help us impact millions of merchant's lives one transaction at a time.Basic Qualifications for Consideration:* Must live in or near Sunnyvale, CA; Austin, TX; Alpharetta, GA; Marietta, GA; New Jersey, New York, or Colorado Springs, CO* High School Diploma or equivalent* 5+ years' experience with internal and/or external penetration testing* 5+ years' experience with popular security tools such as Kali Linux, Metasploit, Hashcat, Burp Suite, Shodan, etc.* 5+ years' experience with common security scanning tools (e.g. Nessus, Qualys, IBM AppScan, etc.) is a plus* 5+ years' experience with HIDS and NIDS tooling (OSSEC, Snort, Bro, Suricata, etc.)* 5+ years' experience with Solid coding skills (Python or Java is a plus)* 5+ years' experience with networking and infrastructure experience* 2+ years in a Start-Up CulturePreferred Qualifications:* Bachelors in Computer Science or similar area of study* Experience with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro* Experience with and highly proficient in Linux and OS Internals* Experience with security incident management and response* CISSP or CEH certifiedLearn more about Fiserv:To support the total well-being of our associates, Fiserv takes a broad approach to our benefits.
