A K-12 paraprofessional opportunity is available in Arvada, CO, for candidates with a minimum of one year of experience working in school classrooms. This contract role runs from ASAP through 5/22/26 and primarily serves a high school setting. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility as assignments may change, requiring work with varying age groups and at different school sites. Key Responsibilities: Support students in classroom activities under teacher supervision Provide assistance to students with significant or severe needs, especially managing caseloads Help with personal care tasks such as toileting and diapering as required Maintain punctuality, reporting by 7:40 AM for elementary or 8:00 AM for middle/high school assignments Comply with immediate fingerprinting upon job acceptance as a condition of employment Desired Qualifications: At least one year of proven experience in school classroom environments Preference for candidates with experience handling significant or severe caseloads Reliable transportation is essential; public transit or ride-share options do not meet reliability requirements Ability to work within a budget capped at $25 per hour or below Two completed, Professional RefAssured references are mandatory to be considered Candidates must be able to undergo and pass a background check without felony or misdemeanor issues Location: Arvada, Colorado Term: Contract through 5/22/26 Candidates with reassured references on hand and availability to start immediately are encouraged to apply.
