Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A position is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support communication needs within educational settings. This role is based in Colorado Springs, CO, and involves travel between school locations to facilitate effective communication between deaf and hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and staff. Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate and professional sign language interpretation during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events. Support students in academic and social settings to ensure full participation. Collaborate with educators and support staff to accommodate student needs. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of interpretation. Desired Qualifications: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with strong interpreting skills. Experience interpreting in educational settings is preferred. Ability to manage travel between multiple school sites reliably. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
