Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher position is
available within a K-12 school setting in Englewood, CO. This
contract role covers a leave of absence and will commence
immediately, extending through March 2, 2026, with the possibility
of extension pending future decisions. The position requires a
strong commitment to supporting students with diverse learning
needs through specialized instructional strategies and
collaboration within the Individualized Education Program (IEP)
team. Key Qualifications: Valid Colorado Department of Education
(CDE) Special Education License with Generalist Endorsement (Grades
5-21) Professional Teacher License must read: Endorsed in Special
Education Generalist (5-21) Applicants holding substitute,
temporary, interim, or traveler licenses will only be considered if
the required SPED license with endorsement has been applied for and
proof is provided Proven knowledge and practical experience in
Specially Designed Instruction and alternative standards support
Extensive understanding of the IEP process and effective
collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Willingness to engage in
detailed discussions regarding instructional experience and
strategies during the interview process Not open to Virtual or
Hybrid teaching arrangements Responsibilities: Deliver tailored
instructional practices for students with special education needs
across K-12 levels Support students through individualized programs
aligned with their IEP goals Collaborate closely with teachers,
therapists, counselors, and families to ensure comprehensive
student support Maintain detailed documentation and communicate
progress to all stakeholders Utilize evidence-based teaching
methods to maximize student engagement and achievement Location:
Englewood, Colorado (Specific campus to be determined) Schedule:
Full Time (40 hours per week) Duration: Contract (Leave coverage),
