• Prepare thoughtfully for teaching, following approved lesson plans.
• Foster an engaging and positive learning environment.
• Support student success with timely feedback and guidance.

• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance instructional quality.
• Make a difference by identifying and aiding struggling students.QualificationsWhat will you need?
  • Must have either:
  • Masters in nursing from a program with national nursing accreditation; Doctorate preferred.
  • A graduate degree in a field other than nursing coupled with a Bachelors degree in nursing from a program with national nursing accreditation and evidence that graduate degree is in a field relevant to the area of responsibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing with a written plan, to be submitted to the Board of Nursing, demonstrating ongoing progression in obtaining a graduate degree in nursing from a program with national nursing accreditation.
  • Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience:
  • Clinical Instructors: Must have 1 year of documented experience in the area of instruction.
  • Theory Instructors: Must have at least 2 years of professional nursing clinical experience.
  • Must hold an active and unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of employment.
  • Must meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications.
  • Previous experience teaching nursing students preferred.
