Administrative Specialist III position provides value added and
comprehensive administrative support to the Space Enterprise and
Warfighting Division/Space Security Directorate leadership team
(Principal Director, Systems Directors) as well as other managers
within the Division, and Members of Technical Staff (MTS). As an
integral member of the SEWD team and focal point for the Space
Security Directorate, the individual contributes to resolving
problems quickly, takes ownership of processes and procedures, and
works closely with leaders, colleagues, and customers to ensure the
directorate runs smoothly and meets internal/external deadlines.
This position requires regular work in the office, in classified
spaces at our Colorado Springs, CO location. What You'll Be Doing:
Providing strategic calendar support for PD and other directorate
managers Coordinating and executing special projects Tracking
action items Collecting and maintaining corporate and customer
reports/deliverables (collecting, compiling, editing, and
publishing via AeroReports) Collaborating with other SEWD
administrative assistants to achieve coverage and increase
efficiency Ordering s office supplies. Monitoring s printers and
copiers for supplies and maintenance Coordinating travel and
administering s travel expense reports Coordinating events and
complex meetings by reserving conference rooms, resolving visitor
or group issues using an understanding of Aerospace policies and
procedures; planning for food and/or catering, shopping when
needed, coordinating deliveries, set-up, and keeping careful track
of landing fees Serving as a Functional Time Administrator (FTA),
auditing and processing timesheets, learning and maintaining
knowledge of applicable policies Regularly interacting with
Aerospace executives, senior leaders, and customers. What You'll
Need to Be Successful: Current TS/SCI clearance and the ability and
willingness to obtain SAP/SAR accesses Ten years of applicable
administrative experience High school diploma or equivalent Strong
oral and written communications skills Accuracy, organization,
dependability, promptness, and flexibility with assignments
Knowledge of corporate policies, practices and procedures for
travel and timekeeping Experience with computer and technical
skills, especially Microsoft Office applications to include
Outlook, Skype/Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and SharePoint
Self-starter and independent learner with strong desire to help
others Ability to work under deadlines of multiple projects Ability
to collaborate well and team with other administrative personnel
