Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the annual budget and rolling forecasts
• Analyze the monthly financial performance and support accounting month-end close activities
• Build and maintain weekly and monthly models for key operational and financial performance metrics, including KPI scorecards with a focus on cloud consumption
• Create and deliver financial presentations to leadership with recommendations and financial implications of proposed decisions with an emphasis on rightsizing our cloud environments
• Leverage understanding of financial modeling, and a hypothesis-based approach to identify, validate and quantify multiyear agreements and long term savings plan commitments
• Demonstrate aptitude for critical thinking in complex situations with the ability to synthesize ambiguous data into concrete results
• Track future pending commitments
• Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for the business
• Perform ad-hoc analysis related to cost-savings opportunities, capital expenditures, and other corporate initiatives
• Acts as steward of financial accuracy and data integrity
  Skills, Experience and Requirements
  
  Education and Experience:
  
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
  • MBA or MS-Finance is a plus but not required
  • 4+ years of experience in an accounting/finance environment, preferably in the telecom or tech industries
    
    Skills and Qualifications:
    
    • Advanced skills in MS Excel
    • Proficiency with financial tools (e.g., Smartview, Onestream)
    • Understanding of business financial and accounting concepts (Accruals, Reversal, GAAP principles, etc.)
    • Intellectual curiosity, outstanding problem solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to seek, organize, analyze, and draw valid conclusions with attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong interpersonal skills, well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials to communicate effectively with senior executives

      Salary Ranges
      
      Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

      The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
