today!Summary/ObjectiveThe Fixed Asset Accountant provides critical
support to the team and aids the department in carrying out its
mission of providing accurate and timely financial
information.Position Pay Range (based on experience): $53,900 -
$67,400Essential FunctionsMaintains the fixed asset subledger,
ensuring that items are accurately entered into the system on a
timely basis and that the subledger reconciles to source
systems.Performs monthly journal entries and reconciliations for
the fixed asset activity.Manages the movement of costs from
construction-in-progress to fixed asset accounts, and close out
those accounts once the related projects have been
completed.Reviews and approves capital and equipment service
contract invoices.Communicates weekly status report for capital
projects and associated equipment financing.Creates and submits
quarterly RFPs to lending partners so that capital projects are
funded in a cost-effective manner.Creates and submits draw requests
for approval once projects are complete.Develops and maintains the
annual capital budget progress report, and coordinates with other
departments to give status updates on spend and remaining budgeted
funds.Tracks early-buy-out options for leased assets.Conducts
periodic reviews of both tangible and intangible fixed assets for
obsolescence/impairment.Prepares audit schedules and assist with
inquiries from auditors.Completes monthly merchant and bank fee
analysis for all entities and generates the bank fee allocations
for entry into the general ledger.Other duties as

QualificationsAt least 2 years of professional accounting
experienceFixed asset experience preferredExperience with Sage
Accounting Software a plusComplianceAdheres to Envision's Code of
