Senior Financial Planning Analyst - The Broe Group
Scope: -Across a company comprised or three major business groups
(Real Estate, Transportation and Energy) with several billion of
enterprise value, evaluates financial reports, business plans, and
financial models as submitted by each executive management team
within the Broe Group.
Reporting Relationships: The Senior Financial Planning Analyst
reports to the Broe Group Director of FP&A, but will also work
closely and often directly with the Chief Financial Officer.
Oversee monthly cash forecasting for Broe Management, including the
roll up of equity needs by each line of business. This will require
extensive knowledge of what is happening within each business,
often on a project-by-project basis.
Review and analyze quantitative data, investment documents and
other material for due diligence (analyze, summarize, and assess)
of new real estate development projects.
Assist in Broe Management's assessment of underwriting for new
investment and development opportunities through the review and
preparation of detailed financial and valuation analyses, and
creation of executive presentations.
Review monthly financial and operations reports as submitted by the
various business groups. -Work with respective management teams to
investigate operating plan variances and assess / prioritize risks
Assist with the coordination of annual planning activities and
selection of key performance metrics as appropriate for each
Assist in reviewing annual operating and strategic plans submitted
by individual management teams to ensure alignment with Broe Group
goals, objectives, and capital allocation plans.
Review capital appropriation and business acquisition requests as
submitted by individual management teams for accuracy and
consistency with strategic, operating, and cash management
Assist as needed with the development of financial forecasting
models for various business groups and a variety of business cases
(sell vs. hold analysis, acquisition underwriting, capital
planning, cash forecasting)
Required Personal Characteristics, Experience and Education
Three years' work experience. Experience in real estate financial
analysis is a plus.
Successful candidate should have progressive financial planning and
analysis experience including experience analyzing and projecting
Demonstrated ability to work across multiple teams is critical.
B.S in Accounting or Finance
Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Well-developed interpersonal skills and verbally articulate. Able
to demonstrate leadership potential. Team player. -Experience in
presenting technical materials to senior management.

Advanced Degree (MBA, MS Finance, MS Accounting)
CPA or CFA
Ability to read and understand legal documents, including
partnership and fund waterfalls
