Job Description:

Position: Senior Product Verification Engineer (Colorado Springs, CO)

Duties: Develop and execute software test plans to identify software

problems for network and application monitoring and troubleshooting

products. Create practical test plans that expose high-risk areas.

Troubleshoot and diagnose root causes of issues detected in the lab

environment and in customer deployment. Assist the engineering team in

determining how to reproduce issues. Manage and maintain cost-effective,

scalable test plans utilizing test automation technologies. Develop and

implement process improvements to improve product quality. Mentor junior

product verification engineers in best practices.

Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer

Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years

of experience developing and executing test strategies for networking

products, including TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, and RMON; or in the

alternative, Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer

Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years

of experience as indicated above.

Also requires demonstrated expertise (DE): performing system-level test

set design and automation using Python and Selenium; DE managing and

administering Linux-based operating systems; DE writing test scripts to

simulate network performance using netflow, SNMP, and network simulation

tools (Mimic, Adventnet); and DE performing application and network

performance troubleshooting using Wireshark, Mimic, Tcpdump and

Ttcpreplay.
